The Tippmann M4 features a dual powered system. Meaning, the user has the option to run the gun with a standard CO2 cartridge or convert it to run a high pressure air ( HPA ) line system. The CO2 cartridge goes in the magazine and is designed to use all of the CO2 in one magazine. There are benefits of running an HPA sytem with the gun as well. If converted, the user will be able to use standard Airsoft M4 high capacity or mid capacity magazines. Both systems offer recoil for a more realistic feel on the field.
