SKB Roto-Moulded 6U Shallow Rack The redesigned Roto-moulded Shallow Rack Cases are tailored to meet the needs of musicians and professional audio/video engineers. The new model, 1SKB-R2S, features a full front and rear cover instead of just a rear access panel, allowing for easy access. Both doors include a rubber gasket to keep water out of the case. These Shallow Racks are roto-moulded for enhanced strength and durability, and they boast an updated exterior design that includes interlocking capabilities, recessed steel Mil-Spec black twist latches, shock-absorbing rubber feet, and heavy-duty flush handles. The addition of rear rack rails and the new cover design extends the depth of the Roto-moulded Shallow Racks to 10.7 inches from the front to the rear rail. This design enables gear to be mounted at the front and rear using the supplied rack mount clips. The new 10.5-inch depth in the 2, 3, and 4-space X-racks allows for compatibility with a wider variety of components. These include effect processors (such as Line 6 and Digitech), signal processors (like DBX Comp and Rack Rider EQ), power conditioners (including Furman and Samson), bass amps (SWR, Gallien-Krueger), line mixers, wireless microphone systems (Shure and Sony), and CD and cassette players, without the need to unplug them when closing the back panel.
